NEW NET ADMINISTRATOR APPOINTED TO UPPER EASTSIDE

I had the pleasure of meeting Sharie Blanton, our new NET Administrator, at Jimmy’s Diner for breakfast one morning. We had a great time talking about the Upper Eastside and the MiMo historic district. Sharie also shared her ideas for her new position. I was wowed, not only by her enthusiasm, but by her insight into the issues we face and thoughts about resolving them. I was inspired by her desire to move the Upper Eastside to its next stage of development.
When we spoke about her experiences before coming to Biscayne Boulevard’s NET office, I was awed by Sharie’s professional career. You name it, she did it. Her resume is remarkable. Her experiences are global. Her responsibilities have always been to educate and organize people and their communities in the many diverse places where she has worked. I knew the Boulevard was in great hands. With Sharie’s terrific smile and experience, she will work her magic to help the MiMo Biscayne Association succeed in its goal to make the MiMo historic district the city’s most successful destination to live, work and visit.
