Our Impact

The MiMo Historic District and surrounding neighborhood are currently not unified to bring consensus to the Upper East Side and to create a vision for how we want to grow as a unified community. One of our main goals is to organize an Upper East Side Charrette.

There are many issues that a charrette will allow the community has a whole define:

  • Creating a pedestrian and business friendly Biscayne Boulevard and 79th Street
  • Connectivity between neighborhoods
  • Design Guidelines
  • Security Issues
  • Remove phone booths
  • Parking related issues
  • On-street Parking
  • FDOT medians
  • Demolition of historic buildings by neglect
  • Architecture/Urban Review
  • DecoBike bike racks
  • Trolley
  • Beverage license

Please note that the Association is a 501C3 charity. These contributions may be tax deductible. Please check with your tax consultant.
