The MiMo Historic District and surrounding neighborhood are currently not unified to bring consensus to the Upper East Side and to create a vision for how we want to grow as a unified community. One of our main goals is to organize an Upper East Side Charrette.
There are many issues that a charrette will allow the community has a whole define:
- Creating a pedestrian and business friendly Biscayne Boulevard and 79th Street
- Connectivity between neighborhoods
- Design Guidelines
- Security Issues
- Remove phone booths
- Parking related issues
- On-street Parking
- FDOT medians
- Demolition of historic buildings by neglect
- Architecture/Urban Review
- DecoBike bike racks
- Beverage license
